To be sure, determining the right size walking stick or can be a subjective art form. What feels right for one person may feel horrible for another. However, with almost two decades of experience in making handcrafted, wooden walking sticks and canes, you can be sure that we have some opinions on the matter!
Cane sizing is best achieved by standing up nice and straight, relaxing your arm naturally to the side, and having someone measure the distance from your wrist to the floor.
Again, let me reiterate, the sizing recommendations listed above are only suggestions. For people needing step-by-step support, it’s best to consult your doctor or another medical professional about your exact sizing needs.
No doubt, these are the best bang for the buck in the industry! This is #3 and am soooo impressed!
I ordered my cane about a month ago, and I am very happy with the purchase. The cane that was sent to me had a defect. Brazos replaced the defective part very quickly. I plan on purchasing a second cane from Brazos with in the next few weeks. I f you have to use a cane you might as well have a beautiful cane.
I purchased this cane for my husband to carry to work. It is beautifully made and he was thrilled. I already own the Hickory Free Form Walking stick and he has another Hickory Cane. This is I believe the sixth purchase and we have been thrilled with all of them.
Well, time has caught up with me and there are times I need a bit of assistance getting and staying upright. I had looked about for canes, and found many fake finish metal canes, but wanted something with a bit more snap. This is it.
Nice wood with a fun spiral, and the brass heme top is fantastic.
The heme is well affixed and sturdy, and quite comfortable.
Overall, a very good purchase with some pizzazz.
It's a beautiful piece of wood, but the brass handle rattled. I secured it with some epoxy, and I'm happy with it now.
This is my 3rd stick from Brazos and I couldn't be happier than I am with this one. Oh, the other two are great, but this is the one for going to church on Sunday!
after 5 hip replacements this is the best cane I've ever used
I feel like a man of leisure especially when I am asked where they can get one also.I give them your name and wish them good day and walk happily along.
