This is a beautiful 50" Charcoal Colorwood walking stick. The color is no-longer available. Limited stock available.
To be sure, determining the right size walking stick or can be a subjective art form. What feels right for one person may feel horrible for another. However, with almost two decades of experience in making handcrafted, wooden walking sticks and canes, you can be sure that we have some opinions on the matter!
Cane sizing is best achieved by standing up nice and straight, relaxing your arm naturally to the side, and having someone measure the distance from your wrist to the floor.
Again, let me reiterate, the sizing recommendations listed above are only suggestions. For people needing step-by-step support, it’s best to consult your doctor or another medical professional about your exact sizing needs.
Having heard that colorwood is no longer being made, my two colorwood sticks (red and charcoal) are very precious to me. They are so colorful and "different" - I always hear compliments. Having accepted that I need a walking stick for balance, I decided to go bold. The colorwood sticks are now my fashion accessories. I wear a lot of black and navy, so they really stand out. Each stick is heavier and thicker than the other Brazos sticks I've purchased. The color artistry more than compensates for the bigger size. (I'm a petite 5'3".) Thanks for educating me that I can use the comments section of the order to request that the stick be cut to a certain length, at no additional charge. That made my life so much easier!! Brazos Walking Sticks rocks!
