At Brazos Walking Sticks we design all of our own walking sticks and canes, and each design is the result of years of experience. The Yard Stick series continues our tradition of innovative design that features aesthetics and utility-they are truly functional pieces of handcrafted art.

These useful staffs are fashioned from sturdy oak or ash, making them strong and highly durable. Each Yard Stick is outfitted with a strong metal tip that provides a firm, secure grip while trekking through your yard or garden. The tip is also perfect for marking plant locations in the garden or flower bed. Additionally, the Yard Stick comes with a handy 36-inch ruler printed on the side of the shaft-perfect for precision placement of plants in your garden.

The Yard Stick also serves nicely as a Snow Stick, allowing you to measure snow depths while trekking through winter terrain. Each staff is engraved as a "Gardener's Yard Stick", or a "Snow Stick", per your choice. Further customizations include additional laser engraving, a thermometer, a Texas State Seal, and a Brazos Walking Sticks medallion, to name a few.

To achieve the graceful look of our Yard Sticks, our craftsmen spend countless hours practicing the routering and sanding techniques necessary to meet our exacting standards. The finished look has a polished, professional finish-a signature of Brazos Walking Sticks staffs and canes.
