Exactly what I need. The cane is about an inch and a half too long. Or was. Not any more. Now perfect - good-looking, sturdy, and just the right height.

I bought this cane for myself after quite a bit of research into many brands & makers. The wood design, grain, and quality is the best I have seen. I could stand for the top surface of the handle to be a little bit flatter (or, wider), but not too much. I am super-satisfied with my purchase and am already looking for another design of Brazos to purchase. Thank you!

I have graduated from walker to a cane, after complete right knee replacement and this cane is what I needed. Sturdy and very distinctive!

Pleased is a mild word to express my satisfaction with the quality of this product. At 6'3" the cane fits at the hip perfectly. Amazingly fast service and super communication from the company was icing on the cane.

One can not find natural wood canes many places anymore. The medical stores all want to sell you an aluminum cane. I happened across one of your canes at an ACE Hardware. I looked at the website and purchased an Oak cane. I didn't read the fine print and was sent an ash cane. It is very nice. The other reviewers are correct, these are very sturdy. I get many compliments on my Brazo cane. Most folks want to know where to get one. I will be ordering more soon!

I have several walking sticks and canes from Brazos and I have never been disappointed. This one is no different, wonderful quality and looks beautiful AND the service is always excellent.

My Dad ordered this cane after reviewing many from your website, could not make up his mind, too many choices. The cane was received much sooner than expected. The cane is beautiful, so well built and sturdy. He had the Texas star placed on the handle, really adds a nice touch to the cane. The entire family is now viewing your website to find more canes to get for him. Thanks for making such a great looking product, can't wait to order more.

James Duprey here. Over a year ago you sent me a replacement cane after I contacted you about one of your canes I bought from a local ACE store. It had a slightly loose head. You were so concerned. You sent out a replacement immediately. Your cane has been terrific!
Recently, my wife had foot surgery for a long overdue bunion. She was in bed for the first two days and then transitioned to a walker for a few days. Then, she transitioned to a cane. YOUR cane. It has worked beautifully.
Today we visited our foot doctor for a follow-up. (she's still in bandages). Our doctor asked where got such a sturdy looking cane. We told him the story. He said here in AZ, folks might like natural, but sturdy looking canes. I offered to send him your site. I did. Moments ago.

Well, you can only imagine.
Thanks for a great product.
In most cases, this cane is made of oak, but in rare instances this cane may be made of ash instead of oak. Please write a request into your order if you want the cane to definitely be made of oak. In either case, the type of wood used will be listed on the cane's label.
The Twisted Oak Walking Cane is one of our top sellers, and for good reason! It is created from pure oak, making it extraordinarily strong, and it is finished with an attractive stain -- in brown, red, or tan -- which magnifies its natural beauty and grain pattern.
Once the oak is received into our central Texas location, each piece is meticulously chosen, cut, worked on a router, sanded, and finally sprayed with a protective clear coat lacquer, making it a distinct, attractive walking cane that will be viable for years to come. Each handle is carefully attached to its shaft using a mortise and tenon joint. The mortise and tenon method is an unparalleled joint method known for its unusual strength; it has been used in wood working for centuries.
The cane -- available in a standard 37-inch size, or a larger 40-inch size -- can also be personalized with laser engraving, and outfitted with a fashionable cane strap. Additionally, each cane can be further accessorized with an attractive pewter star or Texas State Seal. Each cane comes with a standard rubber ferrule for a firm, secure grip on virtually any surface.
Like all of our staffs and canes, the Twisted Oak Walking Cane is handcrafted in the USA using the highest quality wood and time-tested methods.
