  • Very impressive...

    by CNM – 14th Aug 2015

Just received my walking stick todayand I was very impressed with the quality of this stick.I is narrow enough that it is very easy to grip and lightweight. I was hoping for this as I have arthritis in my hands and needed a small wood for gripping. I was so happy with this purchase. If you are thinking about a stick I highly recommend thisone.

A cane makes me feel elderly, The walking sticks works great and I think its more suited to my style. Great product!!

  • My daughter tried to take it from me!

    by DP – 23rd Jun 2014

I bought this for hiking and on my first trip out my daughter immediately grabbed it. We spent our walk taking turns and I now have to buy another one (I'll get the Texas seal in the next purchase). This was great hiking and geocaching as I could use it while walking and for moving branches and stones while looking for caches.

I love this and I will be buying more. I also love that I'm supporting a Texas company that is close to home. Thank you for a great quality product.

  • Great stick

Great walking stick. Makes walking a pleasure again. Perfect height and weight. Great color as well. I want to buy a colored stick soon. I'm hooked.

Product Description

Brazos™ Straight Pine Walking Stick

Our venerable Straight Pine Walking Stick is fashioned from a solid piece of pine, making it a lightweight, inexpensive, no-nonsense walking aid that's perfect for casual strolls through neighborhoods or forests. Once we receive the pine into our central Texas location, we carefully sand it with a fine grit sandpaper, and stain it a beautiful brown, red, or tan in order to magnify the wood's innate beauty. The resulting walking stick is simple yet attractive -- a perfect low cost combination.

Made in America, One at a Time

Unlike sterile, lifeless metal canes and poles, Brazos walking canes offer natural appeal because they are made from real wood. You can see the fine detail and beauty of the actual tree when you look at one. Each cane is a work of art. Plus, because they are solid wood, there are no moving parts to become unstable. Brazos Walking Sticks is family operated and located in the beautiful Brazos River Valley of Central Texas. Each walking stick is handcrafted by skilled local craftsmen.

Make it Uniquely Yours

All our hiking sticks can be personalized with laser engraving, making them uniquely yours. Walking sticks and canes can be further customized with accessories listed above, per your choice.
