The fashionable derby handle is affixed to the shaft with a timeless mortise and tenon joint for a strong, secure fit. The mortise and tenon method is known for its unusual strength, and has been used in word working for centuries.

The cane -- available in a 34-inch size -- can also be personalized with laser engraving, and outfitted with a fashionable cane strap. Each cane comes with a standard rubber ferrule for a firm, secure grip on virtually any surface.
