Diamond Willow is a northern wood that offers several unique characteristics that make it virtually irresistible for your average walking stick aficionado. The wood gets its name from the diamond-shaped segments of of alternating dark and light colors within the wood itself (as opposed to merely the bark). As a result of this natural phenomenon, the Diamond Willow Hiking Stick is highly prized by woodworkers and stick makers because of its many natural bends and curves. Since its introduction in April 2012, the Diamond Willow Hiking Stick has become one of our more popular free-form walking stick offerings. While we buy the raw material from our northern neighbors, we handcraft every Diamond Willow Walking Stick right here in Central Texas. When you buy a Brazos Walking Stick, you’re buying a piece of handcrafted Americana that’s perfect for the casual walker or serious hiker in your life.
Unlike sterile, lifeless metal canes and poles, Brazos walking canes offer natural appeal because they are made from real wood. You can see the fine detail and beauty of the actual tree when you look at one. Each cane is a work of art. Plus, because they are solid wood, there are no moving parts to become unstable. Brazos Walking Sticks is family operated and located in the beautiful Brazos River Valley of Central Texas. Each walking stick is handcrafted by skilled local craftsmen.
All our canes can be personalized with laser engraving, making them uniquely yours. Canes can be further customized with accessories listed above, per your choice.

My hand couldn't grasp the stick well because it was so thin, and I had to return it. But I found another (Ironwood Stick, I think) in a store and it is perfect!
Far beyond expectations, attractive and very utilitarian. Strong and fairly lite but not cumbersome or unattractive Have had it for several months and it just gets better every day.
very nice it could of been a little thicker but it tis what tis
This is a beautiful stick. My only problem is the weight. I would like to try one that it heavier.
When I ordered a white diamond willow walking stick, I had intended to take it with me out of state in a matter of days as a birthday gift for my sister. The day after I ordered it, I received a call from a Brazos customer service representative informing me that they had sold all of their white diamond willow sticks and that they would have to dry some more. They would send it out in a week! I told them that I absolutely had to have it by the time I left town and the representative said she'd check with some shipping options and get back with me. By the end of the day, I had not heard from her and so I emailed the company, offering to forfeit the free shipping and paying to overnight the walking stick as soon as it was ready. The very next day, I received an answer to my email stating that the walking stick had been completed and was going out in the afternoon mail! What FABULOUS SERVICE!! I just cannot express how rare it is to receive any answer at all from many online companies. Bravos is tops in my book!! And the stick is beautiful....
I purchased the 55 inch diamond willow for my wife and she loves it!
Lite and beautiful with lots of character.
Recently bought 2 freeform walking sticks in the bargain section. One was a vine twisted hickory and one a diamond willow. The hickory was very unique and serviceable. The freeform willow is absolute beautiful, the combination of white wood and red/brown figure where there were limbs or knots is striking. Kudus to Kenny Galvez which is shown as the maker on the tag. Hope I got his name correct. It is almost too pretty to use. Hope to enjoy it for years to come.
I just had my 2nd hip replaced and will want to get one of my own. I already have one which I got in Gatlinburg years ago but now I want one of yours.
I bought the walking stick for my wife for Christmas, and she loved it. I will be buying a walking stick for myself and for my daughter. Well worth the price. Thank you Brazos
