Brazos River Bend cane Product Model Number: BRBWC
The Brazos River Bend Walking Cane is the cane version of our popular River Bend Walking Stick. The staffs and canes in this series are named after our nearby Brazos River, and one look at their unique bends and twists lets you know that these walking sticks and canes live up to their “river bend” name! The River Bend canes are truly one-of-a-kind. Each piece of hardwood ash is carefully chosen, cut to its unique “river bend” pattern, worked on a router, then sanded to a smooth perfection. Finally, each staff is stained in one of several attractive colors, magnifying the wood's intrinsic beauty. After the walking cane is stained, it is sprayed with a protective clear coat lacquer. The handles are attached to their corresponding shafts with a mortise and tenon joint. The mortise and tenon joint has been used in woodworking for centuries; woodworkers laud this famous joint for its unparalleled strength. This one-of-a-kind cane is sure to turn heads every where you go! Due to its unique design, we do not recommend this walking stick to anyone over 200 pounds. Each cane comes in a 37 and 40-inch size. Each cane also comes with a standard rubber ferrule for a firm, secure grip on virtually any surface. Each River Bend cane can be personalized with laser engraving, making a cane that is uniquely yours. Like all of our walking sticks, this staff is handcrafted in the USA by our skilled craftsmen using the finest materials and time-tested methods.
